Greenville… this one’s tough to write.
After nearly 6 unforgettable years, countless late nights, rooftop sunsets, and memories that feel stitched into the fabric of this city, Hoppin’ Greenville will be closing at the end of this month — with our final celebration happening on New Year’s Eve.
This decision wasn’t easy.
This place has been home.
From our anniversary parties, 90s throwbacks, and Fourth of July bangers… to the costume contests, rooftop concerts, and those packed weekends where the energy felt like it was lifting the whole block — you made every moment special.
Greenville showed up for us in ways we’ll never forget.
When we were forced to shut down just one week after our grand opening because of the pandemic, we didn’t know if we’d make it. But this city — your support, your messages, your loyalty — carried us through the darkest, weirdest, hardest time for small businesses. We survived because of you.
We’ve partnered with so many incredible local businesses, artists, DJs, food trucks, nonprofits, and creators along the way. You helped us bring fun to this city, and we couldn’t have built this community without every one of you.
To our regulars: you became family.
To our team: you built the vibe.
To Greenville: you gave us a story we’ll tell forever.
We’re officially closing after our New Year’s Eve party, which means NYE is the very last time you’ll ever get to celebrate at Hoppin’ Greenville.
