***If you see an event post advertising a fundraiser Saturday at the pub for the police officer’s family who tragically died last week, disregard it. This is not an event that we have agreed to or approved and it is not a Greenville Police Department event.

We were contacted about this event via messenger yesterday and informed the organizer that we already have a large group booked for that night and could not accommodate them that night. I repeatedly asked him to call to discuss the fundraiser and possibly plan for another date but despite that, the event was posted as being held at our pub anyway and we received no calls.

We would be happy to do an event for the family but will only do a fundraiser that is sanctioned by the Greenville Police Chief himself. I have contacted his office and made the offer.❤️

Please consider donating to the family only through the verified fundraiser on the Greenville Police Department’s official website.

If we do a fundraiser, it will be posted here and only in conjunction with the Greenville Police Department. We will allow no one to collect money in that family’s name at our pub without verifying that it is a legitimate and approved fundraiser.***
