It is with a very heavy heart that tonight will be our last night in the neighborhood. Opening six months before the pandemic was hard enough, but with the insanity of the national staff shortage currently taking place and the pressure that is putting on all restaurants it makes more sense to cut our losses and try to focus on our two original restaurants and try to keep what staff we have employed in our company. We have thoroughly enjoyed our three years in the neighborhood and hope to continue to see all your faces at and . The space will be moving into very good hands moving forward, stay tuned for that, but please stop by tonight for a drink or a meal and say goodbye to your favorite neighborhood staff before they move downtown.

Next we have a pan fried black drum fish on top of our staple beans and rice, complete with crawdads, and a creole sauce!

🫐🫐 Blueberries and cream cheese are pretty magical together. To be more specific, I’m talking about blueberries and sweetened cream cheese. There’s just something about the sweetness of the berries with the creamy, sweet, tart cream cheese that I can’t resist!

This cheesecake is a perfect example of that combo at its best. It all starts with a simple, buttery oat crust. That’s topped with fresh blueberries and a cream cheese filling flavored with a bit of fresh lemon juice and a lemon icing as a garnish. This is all I want a summer dessert to be!
