David Lin is a singer-songwriter from Greensboro who has been involved in the North Carolina music scene for almost 40 years. Beginning his music career as a classically-trained violinist with the Duke String School, David later picked up a guitar as a teenager trading in the violin for a Fender Strat. That turned into playing in several garage bands through high school and college covering a steady dose of Rush, Pink Floyd and the Who. While influenced by singer-songwriters like David Wilcox, Andrew Peterson, Ed Cash and James Taylor, he is a rocker at heart with a deep appreciation of southern blues musicians like the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Zac Brown Band. 

His first album release To***co Road, is a collection of songs written about his life growing up in the Piedmont. He sings about experiences that have shaped him, faith that guides him, and the fun times he’s had along the way. Recorded throughout the year in 2025 in bits and spurts, To***co Road features an amazing community of talented musician friends, and is the realization of a long-held dream to share these songs.

BOOT JUICE is a six-piece high-energy rock ‘n’ roll / Americana act from Northern California, notorious for
their barn-burning live shows that get entire crowds on their feet dancing: a reputation earned from recent
performances at legendary venues like The Fillmore and Dillon Amphitheater, festival sets at Treefort,
High Sierra, and Golden Road Gathering, and packed club shows all across America during their many
years on the road.
The group’s fervently-anticipated fourth album, Keeping Out Of The Ground (out 3/20) exemplifies the
tradition of kickass eclectic American rock ‘n’ roll: With three vocalists, dueling acoustic and
electric-guitar shredding, a b***y horn section, and driving, soulful rhythms, the album offers everything
from groovy, danceable bangers (“Hard Time for Hard Times”, “Slingshot”, “Struggles”) to heavy,
show-stopping rock anthems (“Try Again Tomorrow”, “Rise and Shine”, “Boise”), and tender, swinging
ballads (“Anywhere With You”, “Love From Here”, “Keeping Out of the Ground”). Throughout it all, the band
sends a poignant message: Despite everything going on in the world and the hopelessness creeping in
around us, the best thing we can do is push it through, keep ourselves out of the ground, keep showing up
for ourselves and our neighbors, and forgive ourselves when we just need to try again tomorrow.

Caroline Cotter  Caroline Cotter’s sunlit songs honor the countless ways of being human. With her honeyed voice and disarmingly honest lyrics, Cotter sings about connection, nostalgia, gratitude, loss and wanderlust. Lyrics like, “Find me somewhere out on the road / Take me into your heart and into your home,” make perfect sense from a touring artist who has played over 1000 shows in 46 states and 19 countries. She has performed at churches, art galleries, barns, yoga studios, punk bars, Parisian living rooms and even a schooner off the coast of Maine. Scott Sawyer and Carter Minor met 40 years ago. In recent years they are having a blast collaborating and performing concerts together.
 
Scott Sawyer displays his musical diversity like a badge of honor, re-visiting his blues & rock roots while continuing to explore the jazz tradition & beyond. He’s performed at major festivals, concert halls, jazz venues, and beer-soaked dives here and abroad (Central America, Asia, Brazil, Canada,Europe, and the Middle East).
Sawyer has shared the stage and/or recorded with many noteworthy artists, including John Abercrombie, Charlie Byrd, David Murray, Bob Cranshaw, Buster Williams, Ed Thigpen, and Nnenna Freelon, to name a very few.
Sawyer has appeared on 55+ recordings (8 as a bandleader), spanning a range of genres. https://scottsawyer.net/recordings/. Nnenna Freelon’s “Shaking Free” was nominated for a Grammy in 1997. In 2013 Sawyer joined the Durham Jazz Workshop faculty, where he coaches combos and offers private instruction. He’s a former teaching instructor at East Carolina University (2010-2022) and UNC-Chapel Hill (2012-2020). 
 
Carter Minor is a vocalist, songwriter, harmonica player, and teacher from Chapel Hill who has been professionally performing Jazz, Blues, R&B, and Gospel for over 60 years. Currently he is showcasing the Carter Minor Blues Band as well as singing with Armand & Bluesology, Carrie Marshall, Manteo Murphy, Lindsay Rosebrock and Scott Sawyer
