Here's a little about Show of Hands/Mosaic/Dance From Above performer, Ismo One . Catch him on Sept. 24th at 500 Spring Garden Street at 5:30 pm.

Ismo One's relationship with music began in the bush of Niger singing traditional Fulani songs of while herding cattle from dawn until dusk. At the age of 12 he moved to Niamey the capital of Niger.

As a young teenager in Niamey he joined a theatre troupe and stood out through his singing. After a few years in theatre he ventured on as a solo artist rapping in his mother tongue, Fulfude.

Ismo One has evolved to singing in four languages (Fulfude, Zarma, French and English) with subject matter covering politics, happiness, love, life, and conflict. Ismo One imagines all his own original beats and works with producer Chaka Harley of Playground Studios to bring them to life.

His passion is singing to the Youth of Africa inspired by both vice and virtues of his fellow Africans. He ignites the minds of people everywhere with his voice and lyrics. He has been invited to perform internationally in Belgium, France, Niger, Tunisia, and the United States.
