Created by locals Taylor and Jordan Armstrong, it’s your go-to for drinks, scratch-made food, butcher cuts, and curated provisions.

We’ve spent a whole lot of time imagining this place filled with good food, full glasses, and familiar faces. Next Thursday, we finally get to start making those memories with YOU. 🥩🍷

Butcher Bar opens to the public September 10! Your encouragement through every sneak peek, construction update, and “when are you opening?” has meant so much. We can’t wait to welcome you in and feed you well.

A little heads-up: you may see some activity beforehand as we hold soft-opening events to give our crew practice and work through the details. Those are preparation days ahead of our public opening, so plan your first visit for September 10 or after!

The wine has officially entered the building 🍷 We’ve been tasting, comparing and carefully choosing bottles with our wine partners, and the Provisions Market is now stocked with plenty to take home.

Meet the part of Butcher Bar that might just save your weeknight.

Here’s your first look at the dry goods side of our Provisions Market, stocked with a curated mix of pantry staples, sauces, rubs, condiments and other things we actually use and think are worth bringing home.

But this is only part of the story.

The Provisions Market is designed to make dinner easier, with more still to come alongside what you see here, including sides, salads, grab-and-go options, beer, wine and plenty to pair with whatever you’re taking home from the butcher case.

The idea is simple: one stop, really good food, and fewer errands between you and dinner.

And we’re not showing you everything just yet.

Teamwork makes the dream work, and around here, apparently all hands on deck really does mean ALL hands. 😂🙌 Yes, even the youngest member of the crew got recruited.

Tables, chairs, shelves, provisions, accessories, finishing touches… there’s a whole lot going into turning this space into Butcher Bar, and there’s an incredible team behind every bit of it, all expertly guided by our designer Libby Langdon - Hamptons, NYC Interior Designer.

We’re so grateful for the people showing up, pitching in and bringing this place to life. It’s also a pretty good reflection of what Butcher Bar is all about: people, community and creating a place where everyone feels like they belong.

We’re building this together, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.

A little chaos is a good sign around here.

Tables and chairs everywhere. Lighting, wall decor and decorative details filling the room. Every surface covered with the pieces that are about to bring Butcher Bar fully to life.

And at the center of it all is our interior designer Libby Langdon - Hamptons, NYC Interior Designer, directing the installation and making sure every last detail lands exactly where it should.

Right now, it’s a little chaotic. Very soon, it’s going to feel completely pulled together.

Then comes the really good part: you.

Greensboro, start figuring out your route. 👀 Bike in from the Greenway. Walk over from Westerwood. Pull in on your way home. However you get here, Butcher Bar is about to become a very easy answer to “What are we doing tonight?”

Drinks, dinner, the butcher counter, provisions to take home, and a neighborhood spot built to become part of your regular rotation.

Knowing exactly what to ask for at a butcher counter shouldn’t be a prerequisite for shopping at one.

Part of what we’re building at Butcher Bar is a place where you can come in with a fully planned Sunday dinner or a completely blank slate and feel just as comfortable either way. Tell us what kind of night you’re having, how much effort you want to put in, and who you’re feeding. We’ll help with the rest.

Because a good butcher counter isn’t just about what’s in the case. It’s about making it easier to get something really good on your table.
