Gnarly Cedar Brewery

Gnarly Cedar Brewery Gnarly Cedar Brewery | Wrightstown, WI
Brewery + Kitchen Fresh Beers. Adventurous Souls. A reminder of place and the farmers that support the core of the brewery.

The name is rooted in the oldest known tree in Wisconsin, a 1315-year-old Red Cedar, that sits just behind the property. That namesake drives our philosophy; we hold a symbiotic relationship with nature and the local community. At Gnarly Cedar we are surrounded by cropland & the beauty of the Niagara Escarpment. We embrace the outdoor life, and the freedom that comes with the exploration of your p

assions. We love clean and refreshing beers that keep you coming back, and often find that simplicity in the recipe prevails. We are just beginning our journey in craft beer and invite you to help form our path – as long as the path stays gnarly!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first speaker series on AI Data Centers in Wrightstown. 🙌

It was informative, thoughtful, and encouraging to see the community coming together to learn, ask questions, and listen, including members of the board.

We heard firsthand the toll a project of this size can have on a community, and why it is so important that residents have time, information, and a real voice in the process.

Please continue to attend meetings. Continue to write letters and emails. Continue to ask questions.

And if you haven’t yet (and are a village resident), please sign the petition for a moratorium. It is one of the best tools we have to slow this down and make sure any decision is made with all of the information on the table.

Is this right for Wrightstown?

Let the community decide.👍

Hey neighbors - Does anyone else feel like the last few weeks were a whirlwind?! Information coming from every direction - it's an emotional pretzel! 🙃

But within all of that, there is togetherness, community, and connection. Getting to talk with neighbors and learn from each other to answer the question at hand -

Is an AI Data Center right for our Wrightstown community?

Let us all be involved in the information gathering and be able to ask questions and voice concerns. We know our village leaders care deeply about this community - let them hear us & take it to heart.

Let our community decide what is best for Wrightstown. Not the billionaire tech executive who will never experience the beautiful area we get to call home.

Join us tonight for our first Speaker Series | AI Data Center Information Sessions. Doors at 6pm, speakers at 6:30 followed by Q&A.

Transparency & Community -- it's just right for Wrightstown.

This week, we could all use a little pep in our step. 🌞

Say hello to The Pepper Jammin’- house-blend smash patties, pepper bacon, house-made red pepper jam, pepper jack cheese, arugula, and garlic aioli, all stacked on our brioche bun.

It’s sweet, savory, a little spicy, and just the thing to help us pretend warmer weather is officially here.

Come get jammin’ y'all. 🍔🥓

It feels like deja vu.

A faceless corporation hiding behind the scenes, pulling strings in a town they do not call home.

Wrightstown is our community, and now we are the latest to be confronted with the possibility of an AI data center.

But this one feels different.

There appears to be a new layer of organized support for this project between the people entrusted to protect us and the developers looking to profit from it.

The facts haven’t changed.

No matter how hard a new narrative is forced, the reality still exists. AI data centers consume an unfathomable amount of energy. They require tremendous amounts of water. The health risks are well documented. The construction is constant, loud, and disruptive.

Until we truly understand the impact of these facilities, why should Wrightstown be the test subject?

How about we slow down?

Measure twice, cut once, and let the residents decide.

We will be hosting a series of town halls with experts in health, finance, law, utilities, and land use, along with people who have been directly impacted by projects in their own communities.

Stay tuned. Keep asking questions. 🙌

Fishing season is officially here, which means it’s time to dust off the rods, untangle the tackle box, and start stretching the truth. 🤥🐟

The fish was this BIG, I swear.
He was basically in the boat.
I had the drag set wrong.
Mercury was in retrograde.

Luckily, the Small Mouth Session IPA is here to keep you casting straight at just over 5% ABV. Fresh & Hoppy. Perfect for a long afternoon on the river, where you can keep telling yourself, “just one more cast."

Let the fish stories commence, and may you catch as many fish as beers you drink!🎣

Snoop & Willie ✌️
This week, we celebrate the address of our brewery. 420 Washington deserves some love. We're hooking you up with our first Double Hazy - Willie's Garden. 🌿

Brewed with Strata, Mosaic, Enigma hops & OG Kush terpenes (non-THC), it's the closest thing to being on Willie Nelson's tour bus without leaving Wrightstown.

Rollin' big with our patent-pending Snoop D O Double Brie Smash Burger. Loaded with Poached Peaches in Willie's Garden IPA, 🍑 beer-battered & fried Brie Cheese, H**p Seed Aioli - This thing will surely cure those late-night munchies. 😋

While your taste buds are reaching peaks with the Snake Venom sour, we've got a speciality pizza worth climbing for.

🌋 Mount Bromo 🌶️ Sambal chili sauce hits the base, roasted chicken thigh,
red pepper, pineapple, pickled carrot & cucumber slaw & Wisconsin brick cheese

To maximize the Cocoon collaboration, they've mixed up an East Asian-style pizza on their wood-fired deck as well. Try 'em both out, only available this week!

Our first collab with Cocoon Brewing is here. And yeah… It's weird.

Meet our Fruited Sour: Snake Venom. 🐍

Snake fruit, pineapple, blood orange, and buzz buttons. The freshness lures you. Then the venom slithers in. ⚡️

A little tingle. A little chaos.

On draft and in cans at both taprooms this week!

It’s Masters week! We’ve got a full lineup for the festivities. ⛳

In homage to the legendary pimento cheese sandwich, the kitchen cooked up our own version, The Pulled Pin-mento. Hickory smoked pulled pork, house made pimento cheese, pickled onions, all stacked on a brioche bun.

Even if your golf knowledge starts and ends with Happy Gilmore, you can still get behind this sammy. 🤤
