Wow what a memory - I started this THIRSTY THURSDAY over 7 years ago !!! What a ride here at Glad Rags. I love looking at that SIMPLE wall of Game fame full of people who just loved to play ! It’s been quite a ride the last 7 years full of Thursdays ❤️ The people the smiles oh yea and the great pool. 🎱.

CORINTH – Beverly M. French, 85, of Angel Road, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024 at the Saratoga Hospital.
Born on Sept. 20, 1938 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Truelove) Greenier.
She married Leon French on June 15, 1961 in Greenfield and the couple resided and raised their family in Corinth for many years. He passed away March 23, 2008 following 46 wonderful years of marriage.
Bev and Leon opened up Corinth Billiards and enjoyed repairing and refurbishing the pool tables. They went on to own and operate Bev's Place on Saratoga Lake for many years, until their retirement in 2008.
She was an avid pool player and competed in many tournaments with her husband over the years. In her leisure time she enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time together.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her loving husband, Leon French; her son, Ross Thew; and her sisters, Chippy Greenier and Betty Greenier.
Survivors include her son, Ricky (Donna) French of Corinth; her daughter, Kandy French of Corinth; her grandchildren, Allyssa Baker, Nicole Fisher, Josh Fisher, Adam French, Brendon Emery, Ricky French and Joseph Thew; one great-grandchild; her siblings, Beatty Carleton, Pauline Guilder, and Ellen Knickerbocker; her stepsister, Joan Shaw (John Dubee); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring at Corinth Rural Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.

It is with great sadness & tears in our eyes that we need to share that our Pool SHOOT’n Beverly French has gained her Angel Wings. She will be with her son and Frenchy once again along with friends & family that have passed before her. One strong competitor right there. Our condolences go out to Kandy Fisher (her daughter) , Rick & Donna French (her son & daughter in law) & to all of the rest of her family. You are in our thoughts & prayers. Good morning Y’all. I have a favor to ask . 🙏 our beloved Beverly French has fallen & broken her hip along with fracturing her shoulder. She is in the hospital. At 85 years old we all know replacing a hip & shoulder at that age would not be possible. I need yall to pray for peace pray for her pain to subside. Broken hips are extremely painful! Then add the should pain as well. She is an ICON to our POOL FAMILY & she sure could use us all sending positive vibes her way right now. Dear Bev you have our SUPPORT you have our LOVE , positive vibes & prayers are being sent your way. You are a fierce competitor we know this already!!!! Praying for peace, Bev ❤️🎱❤️
