Here’s what’s cooking next week at Greenbush American Legion Post 88:

🐷 Monday: Breaded Pork Cutlet with mashed potatoes, white gravy, corn, dinner roll and butter – $12

🌮 Tuesday: Fry Bread Taco – $12

🍝 Wednesday: Italian Sausage Pasta Bake with a breadstick and side salad – $12

🥪 Thursday: Ham Club with ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo, served with fries or tots – $12

🥞 PANCAKE FUNDRAISER FOR THE BARTNIKOWSKI FAMILY

On Sunday, September 20th, the American Legion Post 88 Family will be coming together to support Tyler & Madison (Truscinski) Bartnikowski and their son, Cameron.

Cameron and his family are facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Right now, there are immediate and unexpected expenses that come along with hospital stays, travel, missed work, meals, and simply being away from home.

We want to help.

Beginning at 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 20th, we’ll be serving pancakes at Greenbush American Legion Post 88 until we run out. Proceeds will go directly to the Bartnikowski family to put some money in their hands right away and help ease even a small part of the financial burden they are facing.

This isn’t intended to be the only opportunity to support Cameron and his family. There will likely be additional benefits, fundraisers, and ways to help in the weeks and months ahead. This one is about helping right now, while so much is happening so quickly.

Come have some pancakes, make a donation, and help us show this family how strongly their community stands behind them.

Please continue to keep Cameron, Tyler, Madison, and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

This Friday, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and all those who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

May we also remember the unity, compassion, and strength Americans showed one another in the days after September 11.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Well... our grill decided it needed the day off. 😬

Due to a grill malfunction, we’ll be moving today’s Hamburger Gravy Special to Friday.

For lunch today, we’ll still be open and serving deep-fried menu items, but unfortunately anything requiring the grill will be unavailable.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding! And don’t worry, Hamburger Gravy will get its day... just a couple days later. 😊
