The Lake County Folk Club was formed in 1992 by a group of folk music enthusiasts
who wanted to create a place in Lake County where acoustic music could be played
and heard. The intent was to provide the finest "listening room" possible where
local "folkies" and national touring performers could appear. We are a happy mix of people who love to play folk music and people who love to
listen.

Our Story

The Lake County Folk Club was formed in 1992 by a group of folk music enthusiasts who wanted to create a place in Lake County where acoustic music could be played and heard. The intent was to provide the finest "listening room" possible where local "folkies" and national touring performers could appear.

We are a happy mix of people who love to play folk music and people who love to listen. Everyone is welcome. Generally we have a concert on the third (and sometimes fifth) Sunday of the month. We have our Open Stage on the second Sunday unless a holiday interferes, such as Mother’s Day when we might move it to the first Sunday. Finally we hold a Song Circle on the fourth Sunday of the month.
