🐾 FUNDRAISER UPDATE! 🐾
We truly cannot thank our amazing community enough for coming together to support us! ❤️ Because of your generosity, we have been able to slowly chip away at the cost of our replacement units — and we are so happy to share that we are now about 70% of the way to our goal! 🎉

We were also incredibly blessed by a generous donor who covered approximately half of our expense. We are beyond grateful. ❤️

We also want to give a HUGE thank-you to Encore Heating and Cooling for working with us and giving us a great deal on our PTAC system. Your kindness and support mean more than you know! 🥹

That leaves us with approximately $2,000–$3,000 still needed to completely finish covering this unexpected expense.

For those who may have missed our original post, our generator officially gave up, and the HVAC unit for our sunroom also needed to be replaced. Together, these unexpected repairs/replacements totaled around $11,000 — an enormous expense for a small rescue whose funds are normally dedicated to caring for our cats. 🐱❤️

We are SO much closer because of all of you. If you are able to help us get across the finish line, we would be incredibly grateful. And if you can't donate, sharing this post is just as valuable and helps us reach people who may be able to help.

Every dollar truly makes a difference. Even 10 people donating $5 gives us another $50 toward our goal! 🐾

The Cottage is PACKED with kittens! There are about 15 in the lounge awaiting your lap to snuggle in. They are sweet & friendly, and can't wait to love on you!

Side note, Whiskers Animal Rescue of Ohio does require young kittens be adopted in pairs if no other young-ish cat in the home. It truly is best for their behavior and development! We also have kittens at both Polaris & Heath PetSmart stores!

Not sure the world is ready for this, but these guys make their debut at the Cottage this weekend! You know you want them ALL. They are sweet little (needy) bottle babies... Get your application in and come on in to visit -- they're in our lobby!

Happy Friday… although it’s not feeling very happy around here. 😿

We got some tough news: not only has our generator officially given up, but the HVAC unit for our sunroom is done too. YIKES. 💔

We’ve had a handyman out several times trying to repair both, but we’ve officially reached the point where we can’t bandaid these problems anymore. Unfortunately, replacing both is going to cost us around $11,000. There are additional details in a letter within this post.

For a rescue, that’s a HUGE unexpected expense — and every dollar we have is already going toward caring for our cats. ❤️
