On June 14 in 1775 the United States Army was created, when the Continental Congress passed a resolution to form the Continental Army to coordinate military efforts in the Revolutionary War.

Today we celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Army and honor the Soldiers who have served our nation.

Thank you to all Army veterans and those currently serving for your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to defending our freedoms.
