🇺🇸⚾ What a day for our Itasca County Veterans! Our Veterans had an incredible Vets Day Out at the MN Twins game!

👏A special congratulations to VFW 1720 Commander Steve, who had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

👏 It was also an honor to see Howard, alongside fellow Itasca County Veterans, raise the 🇺🇸 United States Flag, while Julie and fellow Veterans proudly raised the MN Twins flag during the pregame ceremony.

The day ended with even more hometown pride as the veterans' bus was escorted by City of Grand Rapids MN Police, Itasca County Sheriff's Office, CVMA MN 48-8, Thunderbird MC Grand Rapids and local patriots. They were welcomed home at VFW 1720 by more community members and treated to a delicious lasagna dinner.

And to top it all off... TWINS WIN! 💥 Bottom of the 9th. Down 0-3, Two outs. 0-2 count. With the Twins down to their final strike, Kody Clemens launched an Ultimate Grand Slam—a walk-off grand slam for a 4-3 comeback win! ⚾💥 It's one of the rarest feats in baseball history, accomplished only 35 times in MLB history. What a game to witness! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special for our Veterans.
