Grand Rapid’s Original Irish Pub

In Ireland, you often hear people ask “How was the craic?” Pronounced “crack,” it’s Irish for the ambiance, conversation, and liveliness of a bar. Drinks and food bring you to a pub for lunch: craic makes you feel welcome and pulls you back with friends after work.

Located in the heart of Grand Rapids downtown, Flanagan’s has been a part of the Grand Rapids community for 35 years. Known for great food and a relaxed atmosphere, the world-famous Irish hospitality comes in the form of a smile and a cold draft. In 2014, our Irish family stopped in for drinks after a family wedding reception and we were struck by both the history and the potential of the pub. Next to Mckay Tower, Rosa Parks Circle, and the DeVos Convention Center, there’s no better place to be in the thick of Grand Rapids life.

So after long preparation, Flanagan’s is once again under Irish ownership and we have remodeled the entire bar in modern Irish charm. When you come to Flanagan's today, we hope you’ll see a relaxed, authentic Irish pub with great specials and a curated craft beer & whiskey list.
