Standing room only this morning for the State of the Forest Forum at the North Star Expo!

The forum brought together community members and forestry professionals for an important conversation about the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping Minnesota’s forests and the communities that depend on them.

A packed room is a strong reminder of just how important forestry is to our region, our economy and our future. Forestry and forest products have played a significant role in Minnesota’s history and continue to provide jobs, support businesses and strengthen communities across the state. Conversations like this help us honor that heritage while also looking ahead to innovation, new technologies, emerging markets and the future of this important industry.
