Now Hiring: Intern (Lamar-Dixon Expo Center) | Ascension Parish Government

Ascension Parish Government is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Intern to support marketing and communications efforts at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center. This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and event promotion within a dynamic public sector environment.

Position Details:
• Pay Range: $15.34 – $21.62/hour
• Labor Grade: 104
• Application Deadline: May 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns
• Create and manage social media content across platforms
• Capture and edit photo/video content for promotional use
• Monitor engagement and recommend strategies to improve reach
• Support branding and community engagement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Administration, or related field
• Actively working toward degree completion or internship requirements
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license

Candidates must pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical.
