Thanks to for the lovely shout out in this month’s issue of ! 🍎🍏🍐

Almira is our namesake cider blend, named for Jocelyn’s great grandmother, Frances Almira Dwinell.

This bittersweet (tannic yet dry) Normandy-style cider is made from a blend of pomme fruit grown by our good friend and mentor Kevin Zielinski of .z.orchardsfarmmarket.

Also props to our homies at .co who make, in our opinion, the most crushableist 🤷‍♂️ cider we’ve ever had. 🫡And wouldn’t you know? They also work with fruit from EZ. 😎

Almira is a labor of love. It’s a difficult cider to make. But, in the end, we think its nuance and complexity rivals some of the finest wines we’ve ever tried. Maybe it’s time you start drinking more cidre, eh? 😅

As always, Almira is naturally fermented and naturally carbonated. 🤌🤌🤌

Holy smokes! We’re grateful and proud to introduce Dwinell as the 2024 Washington Very Small Brewery of the Year 😎

After picking up a Silver in Belgian Style Fruit Beer, we then swept the Brett Beer category. 🧹🤌

All four beers are labors of love made with local fruit grown by small, independent farmers in the Gorge.

- 🥇Summer Blush, made with the eponymous nectarines from Gunkel Orchards, picked up its 3rd WABA medal, taking gold for the 2nd time in 4 years.

- 🥈 Fever Dream, our wild plum beer, features Yummy Beaute plums from Tamiyasu Orchards on Mt. Hood. This beer was 4 years in the making.

- 🥉 Fuzzword, our most awarded beer, which took gold in Brett beer last year, was made with July Flame peaches from Gunkel Orchards (Maryhill).

- 🥈 Lookie Loo, our Oud Bruin Kriek style beer, features Montmorency cherries from grower Phil Evans in Mosier Oregon.

Thank you to for organizing this event and for a killer evening!

To everyone, near and far, that have supported what we do, allowing us to stay (very) small while making delicate, nuanced, fruity, funky beers - to you we raise a glass. Cheers!
