On the eve of Davidson Brothers’ 30th Anniversary, we fondly remember the late Vince DeSantis, Mayor of Glens Falls back in 1996. Months before the brewpub doors opened, Mayor DeSantis honored us by buying the first Quality Control Mug Club Membership to show his support. Cheers Mr. Mayor!

Rick tasting the first 20-oz mug of Davidson Brothers Czech Bohemian Pilsner. Brewed in our brick-clad kettle with Czech and German hops and 100% German barley, bottom-fermented then cold lagered over a month, Rick reports this is one of the best batches of b**r he’s brewed in his thirty-year career.
