- The HIDEOUT
It may just be a little more than a "Local's Favorite" Bar & Grill.
The HIDEOUT… It's Our Own Little Community Blues Club, Watering-Hole,
Juke Joint, Dive-Bar, H***y Tonk, Dance Hall, Public House & Tavern.
It's Been A Sanctuary for all of our beloved KC area Musicians over the
years, and for just as many Music Lovers, from Punks to Hippies and In-
Laws to Outlaws it's been a Safe Space for Making Music Since 2003.
It's been a Room where Minds and Ideas Meet, For Many A Fun First Date, A
Hot Spot of a Hangout, that being mostly due to the place being such a "Cool
Joint"
The Hideout has always been a Saloon for the Working Man, yet known for
it's Groovy and Bluesy atmosphere that has commonly made many folks say
"forget it" to their expensive dinner reservations on a Friday or Saturday
Night and Cut Loose on the Dance Floor with the Band.
The HIDEOUT has turned 21 this year believe it or not!

So much has happened and so many Good-Time memories have been made right here in Our Little "North of the River" Community's Home for the Blues. Angela with her hilarious stories, her wild retro wardrobe and her Wang-Dang Wings,(that's right, Angela started that Dang Wing recipe years.. ago)
Mr. Pete Carroll, now that Boy can Blow a Horn! Mike's Famous Gumbo, and all those Crawfish Boil's... Mmmmm Hmmmm.... So Damn Good! GoodTimes!
Some of ya'z probably even remember Old Man Frank, smokin' his Pipe at the end of the Bar.
Everybody remembers being down at The HIDEOUT for all of those Mardi Gras celebrations, Car Shows, Parties, with Friends and the Outfits, and the Bands, and Open Jams, the Fundraisers and all the What-Nots.

In our ongoing effort to keep things alive at The Hideout, we’ve made it our mission to lift up and support our KC friends and family—and that includes making a few important changes to help keep this train on the tracks.
One challenge we've run into is access to our old social media accounts. After several changes in management over the years, we've exhausted every option to regain administrative control of the original page—no luck. So, rather than stay stuck, we’ve decided it’s time to move forward with a fresh start. So we’re lettin' go, movin’ on, and turning the volume up on this new page. Change isn’t always easy, but it’s often necessary. And at the end of the day—LIFE IS GOOD.
