Save the Date!
Girard Grit in conjunction with the Girard Historical Society will be hosting “Chase those Winter Blues” night (open to the public) Saturday March 7, 2026 at the Girard Knights of Columbus Hall. Advance tickets will be $15 and will go on sale soon. It will include soul and blues music , 3 acts, light buffet with sausage and peppers, charcuterie, and veggie tray.

Couple weeks back, I sat with Mark Acerra and we talked old stories…. At the Royal Gardens. Friendly competitors and supporters of downtown Girard and the community !
Mark and his brother Joe owned the Royal Gardens for years, until they retired a few years back.
Sadly, both our old establishments are now gone from downtown Girard.
