Just a reminder King of Pubs has started. King of Pubs will play at winni starting this Thursday and Saturday! Thursday will start at 7:00pm and Saturday is 6:00pm. Come on out for a fun night.... and remember these tournaments are open to anyone!

🎱 Meet Tim!

Originally from Boston, Tim has spent plenty of time around the Lakes Region, with his family owning a home in Meredith for 40 years. He brings 3 years of bar backing and serving experience from Lansdowne St. and is now taking on a new challenge behind the bar.

A pool player since he was young, Tim is excited to combine his love of the game with his new bartending adventure. He’s also a big sports fan and movie buff.

Winni will be holding an open 9 ball tournament on Saturday, September 19th. Doors will open at 9:00am. We will do a player auction at 9:30am.... with first break at 10am. +++We Still have space open+++

The cost will be $40 per player. All money will be kept in the pot/going back to the players.

We will be playing winner break, call 9, 9 on the break counts, and opponent rack. Three foul rule will be in play. The races will be R5 moderate on the A side.... and R4 moderate on the B side. Max of 8 games on both sides.

We will be limiting this field to 32 players. If you would like to sign up for this event please comment on this post. We would like folks to register for this event prior. Payment can be made in person prior to the 19th... or through venmo. -walsh-3

Yesterday we held our second “go to Vegas tournament” for our USAPL pool league. It was a good turnout and a fun day! Thanks to everyone that played.

Congratulations to Chris Lopes for winning the tournament. He has punched his ticket to Vegas along with Paul Laflamme from the first tournament. In 2nd place was Eric Walsh and in 3rd place Aizlyn Mateah Alfonso!

King of Pubs is starting back up! Winni will have King of Pubs on Thursdays at 7pm and Saturday at 6pm. These are open tournaments… anyone can come! Let’s have a great session.

Just a reminder to all monday night USAPL players. Winni will be holding the 2nd USAPL "Go to Vegas" 8 ball singles tournament on Saturday, September 12th. Doors will open at 9am with the first break being at 10am. The cost for this tournament will be $25 dollars. At this point if you have not signed up/paid you can pay the morning of.

We will be using the same rules that we use for league nights! To play in this tournament you must be/have been active this year in USAPl on Monday nights at Winni Bar And Billiards. We will be using the same race calculator as we do for league. It will be long races in the A side... and short races on the B side.

Winni will be holding an (under 400 Fargo) 8 ball handicapped tournament. This tournament will be on Sunday, September 27th. Doors will open at 830am. We will do a player auction at 9am... and first break will be at 930am. The cost is $30 dollars per player. All money will be going back to the players.

We will be doing R4 moderate on both the A side and B side. Max of 5 maxes on both the A and B side of the bracket. ***We will be capping this tournament at 32 players.

Winni will be holding an 8 ball Honolulu tournament on Sunday, October 4th. Doors will open at 10am... with first break being at 11am. The cost is $25 dollars per player.

Rules- You cannot make a ball straight in! Every legal shot must be a bank, kick, carom, or combination — basically, the cue ball or object ball has to contact a rail or another ball in a way that’s not a simple straight shot.

-A bank means the object ball goes off a cushion before it drops
-A kick means the cue ball hits a rail before hitting the object ball
-A combo means you hit one object ball to pocket another
-A carom means you hit your object ball into any other ball, to go in the pocket
-Call every ball, call pocket.

Fouls include:
-Not hitting a rail after contact with your object ball
-Shooting a straight shot in
-Cue ball scratch
-Hitting your opponents ball first.

This will be a race to 2 on both sides. These shots aren’t always easy, and sometimes these games can take a while!
