💃 Ready to see what you can do on the competition floor?

Whether it’s your very first competition or you’ve been competing for years, Gettysburg Dance Rodeo has a place for you! We have Beginner/Improver and Intermediate/Advanced divisions, plus a Novice category for dancers with fewer than five competitions under their belt.

This is all about challenging yourself, having fun, and cheering each other on. Come dance your best, meet some amazing people, and make some memories.

🎶 Three Dance Floors. Three Different Vibes. One Amazing Weekend. 🌪️

When Open Dancing starts at Gettysburg Dance Rodeo, you’ll have options!

💚 Emerald City
All-request. All levels. From beginner favorites to advanced event dances, anything goes. Friday night, the party moves poolside at midnight for our Indoor Poolside Line Dance Party (12:01am–3:00am, for weekend attendees, Friday All Day Pass). Saturday? We dance until the last dancer calls it a night… and that might be very, very late.

👠 Munchkinland
Your home for all-request Bar Style favorites! Think Pieces to the Puzzle, Wobble, A Bar Song, Outlaw, and more. This room will stay hopping until approximately 11pm–12am each night.

🌺 Poppy Field
An all-request room dedicated to Beginner-level dances. Perfect for newer dancers or anyone who loves the classics and crowd favorites. Again, this room will be open until 11pm-12am each night.

And here’s the best part…

A dance can be requested in more than one room! If Three Tequila Floor gets played in Munchkinland at 9:00pm, there’s nothing stopping someone from requesting it later in Emerald City.

📱 Thanks to DJBooth Live, you’ll be able to see what’s coming up, what’s already been played, and submit requests directly from your phone or at any DJ booth throughout the weekend.

Choose your room. Change rooms. Dance in all three.

This November, we’re hoping to make Gettysburg Dance Rodeo a truly coast-to-coast celebration of line dancing. Our goal? We’d love to see dancers from all 50 states represented on the dance floor.

Whether you’re driving across state lines or flying across the country, you’ll find packed dance floors, incredible instructors, friendly faces, late-night dancing, and a community that welcomes everyone who shares a love of dance.
