Let’s look forward to a great month and for us, that means partnering up with our good friends at ! A wonderful charitable organization that helps to enrich the lives of special needs people in our community!
Their goal is to create opportunities that develop relevant socialization skills that members use to integrate and live within the local community over their lifetime. We establish community based services that focus on unique ways to enable individuals with disabilities to thrive in the community.

A new refreshing season is ushered in this month with BBH ushering in a new charity to support. We introduce who has been a valuable community asset out of Glen Ellyn for 40 years.
Their mission:
To prevent homelessness and hunger in the western suburbs of the Chicago-land area and to provide hope when hope seems impossible, to restore dignity to individuals or families facing a current economic and life crisis as the organization seeks creative tools to help move the family toward economic stability.
Easy to agree their importance in the western suburbs and beyond, and we are so fortunate to fundraise and donate to them!

No Hero Left Behind
Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans is a non-profit agency that provides housing, supportive services, and community outreach to help homeless and at-risk veterans and their families achieve self-sufficiency. Founded in 2007, by Vietnam War veteran Bob Adams and Gulf War veteran Dirk Enger, MSHV operates on a vision to end veteran homelessness so that no person who has defended our homes goes without a home.

Happy Summer and happy to have our friends at back with us as our selected BBH charity. Over the course of the last few years we are over $150,000 of donations to a bunch of great local charities. Proud of that and proud of our community that helps us get it done! Thank you.
That said mutual ground is an invaluable partnership and what they do is important to those that need it.
Their mission:
is to create a safe environment where individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, and substance use are able to reclaim their power. We support the healing of our community through education, awareness, and life changing services as a commitment to equity for all.

May flowers are here, and well.. an abundance of showers for that matter! Warmer weather is coming and with that In May, we love to support the with both the COTM and BOTM sales. Good friends of ours and an important cause for those with epilepsy in our community!

The Jack Pribaz Foundation was established to find a cure for KCNQ2 encephalopathy. However, Jack’s earliest diagnosis was simply “epilepsy,” because he has suffered from seizures since birth. His doctors were eventually able to narrow down his condition to a mutation of the KCNQ2 gene. Therefore, the Jack Pribaz Foundation exists to help fund research on this specific gene and ultimately to assist the medical world in understanding the underlying causes of epilepsy.

Our single barrel drops today! For Sale and for pour.. Bourbon Belly is privileged to have one of the few barrels in Illinois!
Stats:
This barrel was filled in April of 2015 at 110 proof. Samples came in at 117.9 proof. Barrel bottled at 110 proof.
The barrel spent its time aging in the Tyrone open air rickhouse on the 4th floor, section G, row 4.
At the time of bottling the whiskey will be aged 10 years. It is complex and tasty and available at all 5 Locations!
