Hello one and all. This coming weekend, Alumni Weekend Spring 2017, will be the last weekend that The Statesmen has a liquor license as we will not be renewing our license with the State Liquor Authority (SLA) as we were not able to come to an agreement with the SLA and our license is up for renewal on May 1st. After May 1 we will be open during our normal times for SUNY Students as a place to dance (not serving alcohol). We do not wish to pay, what we consider to be, the extortionate amount of money, under unacceptable terms, to the SLA. Therefore, Friday and Saturday night will be the last weekend of the year that we serve alcohol. We will be open on Friday at 11PM to closing and Saturday we will be open 3PM to 8PM Saturday during the afternoon and then open again at 11PM until closing Saturday night. Alumni Weekend in Geneseo is always a very special time in the Spring Semester and we look forward to this being the case again this year. Let's all have a fun and safe Alumni Weekend! THANK YOU

Year after year I continue to be impressed by the students who attended SUNY Geneseo and also by the phenomenon that is Alumni Weekend - made special by all of you - and I am just happy to be a part of it. From all of us at The Statesmen we wish all Alumni great success in their endeavors. To all SUNY Geneseo students - good luck on your upcoming exams. We will be closed the weekend of Friday, May 6 and Saturday May 7 during finals week. We will re-open on Graduation weekend, Friday May 13 and Saturday May 14 at 11PM.
