Visit our page at 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST daily through July 16 to see the winning entries from each Department (state), beginning with Alabama and ending with Wyoming. Department entries in the National Contest will be judged at National Headquarters and winners announced July 21. The contest, sponsored annually by the , recognizes up-and-coming artists and encourages patriotism in youth. A total of $31,000 in national scholarships will be awarded to nine (9) students with the first-place national winner receiving a $15,000 scholarship.
