Meet our (red) meats. We source both our seasonal steak cut and grass-fed burger meat ground in house from Veritas Farms

Our burger features grass-fed beef is topped with caramelized onions, garlic aioli, house pickles, tomato and your choice of cheddar or goat cheese - all sandwiched between our house-made milk sesame buns.

Our seasonal steak cut (shown here is our Flat Iron, although this changes semi-regularly) features house made Chimichurri, in-season pan-seared vegetables, and fresno chilis.

Both are fan favorites and a must-try!

Our mushroom dish with homemade ribbon noodles features seasonal mushrooms from Daunts Farm, pan fried garlic oil, a dollop of ricotta, and a generous helping of hand grated dry aged parmesan and freshly cut basil.

Raise a toast to liquid dessert and made from scratch menu favorites.

If you haven’t tried our espresso martini yet, our house-infused vanilla bean tequila and a fresh pulled shot of our very own single-origin Brazilian espresso make it quite unique. Add Mr Black Spirits cold brew coffee liqueur, and a dash of chocolate bitters for our unique twist on a classic: an espresso martini full of depth and unmatched flavor.

Or taste our Tawny aged port for the perfect after-dinner accompaniment. We paired it here with our strawberry flan with strawberry coulis and a touch of Chantilly cream.

‘No farms, no food.’

When opening Pitanga, I was naturally excited to highlight the bounty of nearby farms, many found just minutes from our restaurant in Gardiner. The difference in quality of local produce versus a national wholesale distributor is unmatched, and I stand firmly on the truth that without farms, there is no food.

With paper thin margins in the restaurant industry, it’s not simple to source ingredients locally, but it is vital to our mission 💯
