Join us at Oldspeak on Tuesday, July 14th for a delightful evening when we transcend time and celebrate the release of Sometime This Century by Samantha Silva. 📖

After much pomp and circumstance at our last affair for dear Jane’s birthday, we felt it was far past time to hold another festive occasion. Our summer ball follows the book release of dear friend and local author, Samantha Silva. Sometime This Century is a Regency-era time travel romantic comedy novel and the perfect inspiration for our ball.

So, in the spirit of the book, and of our general need for levity this season, we invite you to our Time Travellers Ball. Dress for the occasion — whether that means wearing your best Bridgerton apparel, a Victorian remake, or take creative liberty and don a style from another favorite era throughout time; costumes and your genuine enthusiasm are not only encouraged but a necessity. Join Oldspeak, the City of Boise, and Jen Ellis, BSU’s Sustainability Manager, for the very first Science on Tap 🔬on Monday, November 17th at 5PM.

11/17 TOPIC: Recycling and Beyond
Discover the fascinating science behind recycling and find out what your trash can truly become. ♻️

The book bar doors open at 4:30PM, giving you plenty of time to grab a drink and mingle before the event kicks off at 5PM 🍻

This event is in partnership with the City of Boise, Boise State University, and our own brewery side of the book bar, Alliteration Ales.
