Join us Tuesday, October 6 for Book Tasting: during Banned Books Week with The Lit Room.

Here’s how it works: The Lit Room is bringing an entire selection of banned books, and you get to choose the one you want to take home. While you browse, we’ll pour four w**es specifically selected for the tasting… because every good book deserves a good pairing.

And honestly, with the holidays creeping closer, this is a pretty excellent excuse to pick up a few books for the people on your list, too. Or yourself. We won’t judge.

COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS | 100 Women for Good 💛

We’re kicking off our new Community Highlights series with an organization we’re very happy to shine a little more light on: 100 Women for Good Boise.

We’re proud to be a member and love what happens when women come together, each giving $100, and collectively decide where that money can make the biggest impact right here in the Treasure Valley.

Since 2019, the group has given more than $400,000 to local nonprofits. At their August gathering here at Parcero, members presented JEMFriends with a $16,000 donation to support young people aging out of the foster care system.

That’s the kind of local, tangible impact we love being part of. And it’s exactly what Community Highlights is about… introducing you to the people, organizations and businesses doing good things in our community.
