Garden City Centre Stage Players Southwest Kansas Family Theatre To present enjoyable family theatre which has at its core outstanding acting and production values.

To offer a premiere training program for actors of all ages which seek to raise the artistic standard for excellence and challenge the performer to achieve their best. To establish and sponsor education outreach programs within the community.

I want to produce a play. I want to pick one and think about how much fun it will be. I want to have auditions so I can meet new actors. I want to secretly pre cast so I can have my friends in it. I want to design a set. I want to make a rehearsal schedule. I want to deal with conflicts. I want to find a stage manager. I want to go find materials for free. I want to prop hunt all weekend. I want to watch my costumer have fun. I want to build a set. I want to say "THIS IS NOTHING" when a major problem arises. I want to watch Michael Sanders keep Melissa Fulton from hitting me with a hammer when I say it. I want to block. I want to see actors off book. I want to see actors grow into their roles. I want to cancel a rehearsal and go cast bonding instead. I want to not be ready three days before opening night. I want to be relieved that we are. I want to hear the excitement of opening night in the dressing rooms. I want funny mistakes on stage so we can have more theatre stories. I want laughter to wash over us. I want to hear the applause on closing night. I want to strike a set. I want to get drunk at the cast party. I want to want to start planning the next play.

HOLY MOLY!!! IT'S LIKE CHRISTMAS!!! THANK YOU, Elissa Anne. She sent me a big box of DOZENS play scripts and monologue books she's been collecting for years!!!! SO MANY TO DO!!!! The Elissa Anne Script Library will be open soon.
