Good afternoon, Galveston! A few have asked about the Jumbo Shrimp, so I am pleased to provide an update:
Last Wednesday, with the help of 5 to 6 men and a crane, we lifted the shrimp off the mounting bracket and laid her gently on some mattresses in our trailer. We hauled her up to J.P. Fiberglass Repairs in La Marque. Some structural repairs were needed on the interior, the exterior has already been sanded down, and some fiberglass has been patched. Much more work to go, but with a little bit of fiberglass, fresh paint, and some elbow grease, she is going to be looking good as new! Jeremy and his crew are on it! This is where we need help, Galveston. We need ideas on paint selections! What colors should we go with? Sincerely, Nick Gaido
