First of all I wouold like to thank everyone for all the likes and shares on facebook that was impressive! I’m not sure where all you great people came from, wish I could of seen you all at least once when I bought Dustys to meet you all. Again thanks for all the likes and shares!
I would like to thank my wife Libby and all my kids and family for all the support. Love you all. I would like to thank all the employee’s during my ownership. Angie Alexander, was my first bar manager and I couldn’t have done it without you, you were great and helped me understand the bar business. Maddie Painter what can I say but I love you and appreciate everything. You are the best and will always think of you as family. Darrian Leigh what can I say we went round and round many of times but you always came back and dove back in. You loved Dusty’s! I know I was tough on you cause i was always giving you a hard love like I would my own kids! Yes I fired you and you quit, but we always worked it out. I will always be here for you to give you that tough love. I know I missed a few but to all the employees THANK YOU!! I would like to personally thank Phillip and Jill Peters for coming into this with me. I know our hardheaded personalities caused us to come to an end early, but
I work with Phillip and still think the world everyday of you. Reynaldo Madrigal what can I say Ray your the best. Ray put a lot of labor in this bar and made the best tacos around. Ray you are the best and I’m so glad I can call you my friend! Cameron Dillon what can I say you busted your butt in this bar and all your construction work. Thank you son! Mandy Comp, thank you for coming over to Dusty’s. You brought so much knowledge of the bar business and how to run a bar correctly. it' a tough job to be a bar manager! You brought us into the kitchen business and then carried our food license. You kept the kitchen top notch and with all the inspections alway a 100% good report, that is impressive! You brought a lot of great ideas to keep employees and customers in check, it’s a tough job. You ran a tight ship, but that is what it takes in the bar business. You caught a lot of crap, but that is why you are the best bar manager I know. You are the one that has to keep the bar safe and remember you can never make everyone happy, but that is what it takes to run a bar. Mandy you are great and thank you! I would go to battle with you anytime. I will always think of you as a true friend. You always had my back on everything even if you didn’t agree. I will always think of you and Chad as good friends. You two are great people.
Now to all the negative and Monday quarterbacks on facebook and THE PRIVATE GALVESTON PAGE! No Dusty’s didn’t lose any license or get shut down!! I did like the copies of the old license that was posted and the comments made, First of all you need to get the right enity when checking those things. I'm pretty sure some of you wouldn’t want some of your info pulled up and posted. I know for some I have the harsh true facts on.
It’s not good or fair to make acquisitions of people on the internet.
At this point I chose to shut Dusty’s down. At this point I’m sure Dusty’s will open up again under different ownereship or be Dusty’s apartments under my ownership lol

Please if you have any questions just come to me and ask or call me! Please leave all the employees alone I closed Dusty’s bot them. And finally no I’m not moving to Texas or anywhere else anytime soon lol!!
