Yesterday I had the opportunity to head down to my old stomping grounds in Galloway to catch up with Jerry Ryan, organizer of Elephant Talk Indie. We had a great chat and I'm looking forward to sharing his story with you!

We met at Pitney Pub, which in my brain is still Pitney Tavern, because that's what it was 20ish years ago when I lived down there.

It got me thinking - what businesses around here can you refer to by their old name and people still know exactly what you're talking about, even if it's been called something else for years?
