And closing us out for the weekend is the incredibly talented WENDY LYNN MARKUS and her electric violin! 🎻⚡

There’s just something about Wendy filling the pub with that electric violin while you’re sitting back with dinner and a cold pint that makes you forget Monday is lurking around the corner.

🎻☘️ GALENA, LET’S START A TRADITION! ☘️🎻

Starting Wednesday, September 9, 2026, we’re bringing it all together at Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub right here in Galena! 🇮🇪

Our doors will be open from 4 PM–10 PM, and we’re inviting musicians, singers, locals, visitors, and anyone who just loves good Irish music and a cold pint to come join us.

🎶 You bring your instrument and playing skills…
🍺 We’ll serve the beer and help sing along to your tunes!

Fiddle, guitar, banjo, bodhrán, tin whistle — whatever you play, bring it along. No big stage, no fancy production. Just musicians coming together, sharing tunes, telling stories, having a few laughs, and creating the kind of night an Irish pub was made for.

Don’t play? Come anyway! Grab a pint, pull up a chair, clap along, sing when you know the words, and be part of it.

Hearthfire Duo is BACK for round two. Because apparently once wasn’t enough. 🍻

Hearthfire Duo closes out the weekend with live music, good craic, and proper pints.
