Dear Notes Community,
After a great deal of reflection and thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision to close the doors of Notes.
This choice comes from a deeply intentional place. As our three children continue to be homeschooled and our family’s support balance has shifted with Brent stepping more fully into his career, we have reached a point where our family needs more of our time and presence in this season. This decision reflects our commitment to meeting those needs with clarity and care.
Notes has been one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives. What began as a simple dream grew into a space filled with books, conversation, creativity, and community. We are incredibly grateful for every person who supported Notes, spent time here, shared stories, and helped shape it into what it became.
While Notes is closing, we are thankful that this space will continue to serve the community. Erika from Corks And Colors will be opening her second location here, creating a place centered around creativity, gathering, and shared experiences. It brings us comfort knowing the spirit of connection will continue within these walls.
This was not an easy decision, but it is one made with intention and love. For this season, our family needs to come first, and we are choosing to honor that.
Thank you for the encouragement, support, and memories you’ve shared with us. Notes will always hold a special place in our hearts.
