This summer has been SMOLDERING so come cool off with this shisho watermelon refresher!

The Suikawari is an NA Cocktail featured on Our’s Summer Omakase drink menu. It’s inspired by a summertime game played in japan where players try to slice a watermelon in half blindfolded (think piñata!)

This refresher spotlights a shisho syrup which brightens up the deeper flavors of a watermelon shrub. All rounded out with a touch of lemon and topped with soda water.

Feel free to have as is, but our wonderful bar staff would be happy to recommend a spirit to pair with this fizzy drink.

Summer is in full swing so stop by Dragonfly Gainesville to try out the next drink from our summer Omakase menu, Pōchi Pōchi!

Inspired by classic summer flavors, this low abv drink features coconut oil washed ginjo sake at the center. Bright, fresh honeydew bursts on the palate with a hint of cooling mint. The flavors are rounded out with lemon and a touch of salt.

This porch pounder will have you dreaming of hitting the pool to catch some rays!

Summer is in full swing and so is our seasonal cocktail menu! Today we are featuring Ishi Mountain created by our very own Rokhy!

This cocktail is inspired by the famous New Orleans Hurricane cocktail 🌀

With a unique take on the star ingredient fassionola, this fruit cocktail-like syrup gets a Dragonfly twist by including salted waxberries — the official flower of the Kochi prefecture —as well as strawberry, blueberry, mango and passion fruit.

Demerara rum and strawberry infused nigori sake give weight and depth while funky Kiyomi Japanese rum adds complexity to this tropical beverage.

Get swept away by the Ishi Mountain this summer at Dragonfly in beautiful downtown Gainesville!

It’s that time of the year! Dragonfly’s Summer Seasonal Omakase menu is officially on ☀️

What a better way to beat this record heat than with a thirst-quenching cocktail! Here we have Alexa’s “Kero Connection” 🐸

Inspired by the surge in popularity of Midori in Japan, this is an upscale cocktail that looks to dispel the myth that the Japanese melon liqueur is only for Midori Sours.

This cocktail additionally features a bitter melon infused cachaça that complements the flavor of the Midori while taming it’s sweetness. Fresh yuzu and aromatic ginger round out the flavor profile of this refreshing beverage.

Hop on down to Dragonfly to try this or another our original creations!

The next drink we are spotlighting from our Seasonal Spring Cocktail Omakase Menu is “Nothin’ But Netsu”!

This is our seasonal non-alcoholic cocktail and features a house-made goji berry and honeysuckle syrup, thai chili honey, lemon and seedlip garden non-alcoholic spirit.

With a sweet, spicy and citrus-y flavor profile, this lovely spring beverage gets a garnish of rayu, a chili infused sesame oil.

This delectable libation is an homage to the unique and prosperous citrus industries of Florida and Japan respectively.

Intertwining a Japanese citrus cordial consisting of yuzu, mandarin and kumquat and a Florida citrus blend of grapefruit, navel and blood orange, this drink creates a harmony of flavor that will have you coming back for more!

Introducing Dragonfly’s Spring Seasonal Cocktail Omakase Menu!

First up is Uzume’s Dance created by our very own Alexa.

This beautiful creation is named after Uzume, the God of Joy, whose enrapturing dance brought out the Sun, ushering in Spring.

Fruity and tropical, this Japanese riff on a Mai Tai features a house-made dragonfruit, almond and nigori sake cordial.

Come in to try this quaffable sipper and be transported to a Japanese vacation.

Have one too many of these and you’ll be dancin’!
