Typical format allows for 3 songs/15 minute performances for each musician. Board size may cause nightly adjustments. This is a music oriented Open Mic geared toward acoustic and electric guitar performances. We offer 3 dynamic mics, 3 instrument inserts through 2-1000w 15 inch speakers and 2 monitors. Cajon's are welcome, We currently have a house drummer to offer percussion during sets. Earn A $PAID$ Gig Event: Gatsby's offers an ability to earn a paid gig on specific Saturday's from 6-8pm, opening up for the Saturday Night Band. The events run seasonally and run in 4-6 week voting cycles. Performers earn Player Points through nightly voting by patrons, venue staff and host. The player with the most points at the end of each event period earns the paid gig. This is not a single night voting/winner event. We normally announce the winner 9-10 days in advance to allow for proper marketing of the gig. Performers are expected to be able to play 2 hours worth of material and provide their own sound equipment. The Open Mic Host may provide sound assistance, if needed, for a small fee. Gatsby's reserves the right to suspend or adjust the event as needed without notice.
