It’s apple season in Ohio, and one of our favorite local partnerships is back in full swing.

Every September, our friends at Hirsch Fruit Farm supply us with freshly pressed apple c***r for our Cranberry Apple C***r Mule.

We pair it with cold-pressed cranberries and our lime and ginger mule base for a perfectly balanced fall cocktail mixer made with the real ingredients you can taste in every sip.

Simple Times has grown quite a bit since we started in 2017. Today, we’re producing mixers in our Columbus, Ohio manufacturing facility for major retailers like Whole Foods, Kroger and Fresh Thyme across the country, but growing nationally hasn’t changed how much we value sourcing locally whenever we can.

We’re bringing together two Ohio-made favorites, Simple Times Mixers and Buckeye Vodka, for a Bloody Mary that deserves a spot in your Ohio State football game day lineup.

Mark Tinus, our founder and president, takes us back to 2017 and the idea that started Simple Times.

At the time, craft cocktail bars were raising the bar for what a really good drink could be, with fresh juice, real ingredients and cocktails made by hand.

Mark wanted to find a way to bring that same experience home without all of the prep - or the overly sugary, artificial mixers that filled the shelves.

That became Simple Times: fresh-juiced, all-natural mixers made with the same care you’d expect from a craft cocktail, with all the hard work already done for you.

Almost 10 years later, we’ve grown quite a bit from where we started, but the reason we make Simple Times hasn’t changed.

Really good ingredients make really good drinks, and everyone should be able to make one.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, still made right here today and now available nationwide.
