Backcountry Brewery and Restaurant was established in 1996 by a group of Frisco and Summit County residents with a desire to bring great brews and food to their community for the enjoyment of locals and visitors. The beers are formulated to appeal to the outdoor and adventure oriented folks that choose Summit County for their winter and summer outdoor recreation and relaxation. We take great pride

in offering diverse of ales lagers and American pub fare. Our range of annual and seasonal beers that have combined to win 6 Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at the Great American Beer Festival, the nation’s premier beer competition as well as a Silver Medal in our first international competition held at the Colorado State Fair in 2011. The craft beer competition at the Colorado State Fair put Summit County's Backcountry Brewery on the map, with recognition for six beers during an awards ceremony Aug. 25, 2012
