🚨🚨 Attention Thursday night Bags players! 🚨🚨

Looks like Mother Nature is not going to cooperate today and we will have to cancel league play tonight due to the forecasted rain. 😟☁️☔⛈️

We will mark today's matchups as makeup games to be played at a later date when teams can get them in when the weather is better.

We will still be open for bowling league play tonight and regular bar/kitchen hours, so if you want to get out of the house and come have some fun, join us!

Week #5 of the American Place Casino Summer Sweeper series is officially complete, and we were proud to welcome Matt Gasn into the booth with $2 Phil & Ten On The Deck Productions to discuss all things bowling! If you have a chance to stop by Top Notch Bowling, check out their two locations for all your bowling needs! Matt chose the WTBA Paris pattern, and it proved to be quite the challenge for the bowlers tonight. We had 40 bowlers come out and take on the challenge, trying to win their share of the prize fund, Top Notch bowling ball shammies for the top-9, and SummerFest tickets for the top-4!

The cut number this week to make the top-18 was 592, showing how tough they played tonight! We had some pretty good battles through the elimination rounds, and our final four bowlers tonight were Dominique Fortson, Dartanion Sellers , Chris Hoffmann , and John Halaska . This match was close early, as bowlers battled for position. Dominique was in his first ever tournament, and though he had a great showing, could not keep up with the striking place of Chris and Dartanion. Those two battled until it was a done deal, and Dartanion sealed up his second consecutive victory in the series! Way to go! Dominique captured 2nd place with a late flurry, Chris was 3rd, and John took 4th place. Congratulations everyone!

The main event standings now have a clear cut leader, with Dartanion accumulating 15 points in the last two weeks! 😮

Bakerz Dozen Tournament Standings Update!

We had our first shift this past Friday and we are under way with the inaugural Bakerz Dozen trios tournament! Leading the way currently is a team total score of 2615! The build-a-game side pot has a game of 242 in the lead. This game is created using all of the 10th frame shots through your 12 qualifying baker games. We have also put in a picture of the completed score sheet for the team RD3 from this first shift so you can see what a completed score card for this event looks like!

Remember that you are able to bowl as many times as you wish, you just can't bowl with the same trios team more than once, just have to swap out at least one bowler.

We are looking for more teams to fill up the squad coming up for this Friday, June 12th, so if you are thinking about bowling and want to get in on all the fun and prizes, get signed up! You can use the QR code on the flyer or visit the tournament section of our website:

One week ago, we held our 6th Annual 9-pin no tap fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin - Southeastern ! It is hard to believe that we have been running this event for 6 years already, but here we are!

We had an amazing 122 bowlers through the doors that day, along with many others who came by to support all of the fundraising we were doing that day. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support once again, making this another MASSIVELY successful event!

We were so proud to feature a very special silent auction item this year, and that was the painting that was done by the one and only Leilani Meier. This young lady has some incredible artistic talent and she painted this flower picture for this event. This painting shows that we can all take time to see the ability and not necessarily the disability. We can take time to find what every one of us can bring to the table to make this world a special place. Leilani has already said that she would like to make more paintings for events, so keep an eye out for another truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece from this emerging artist! 😁 A very generous bid won the silent auction, and we hope the new owner of that painting cherishes it for years to come.

Through all the registrations, basket raffles, TV raffle, silent auctions, 50/50 raffles, jersey/hoodie raffles, and additional donations, we were able to raise $12,481!!! It never ceases to amaze us what this wonderfully supportive community can do for a fantastic cause! Thank you so much everyone, WOW!!!

Our journey this year is far from over! We have an event at our summer sweeper series coming up that will feature a fundraising chance, and we also have our 3rd annual swing and strike challenge on 8/1, where we combine a 4-person golf scramble with an outdoor bowling lane score to have a great time while raising money!

Thank you again everyone, to all those who donated money and those who donated their time to help raise money for DSAW. We truly appreciate each and every one of you, knowing this vision and this mission wouldn't be possible without you.

Week #4 of the American Place Casino Summer Sweeper Series was completed on Wednesday, and we had a second consecutive week of action right down to the final frame to determine our winner! We put out the pattern for our brand new Bakerz Dozen tournament to allow bowlers the chance to preview the condition before signing up for the tournament, and Kevin Meier joined us in the booth all evening with $2 Phil & Ten On The Deck Productions to call the action and discuss the tournament!

This week, 53 bowlers came our for their shot at the championship this week, and it was quite the battle for the cut number, as 662 was the number to make it through to the top-18. There were a whopping 13 bowlers within just 20 pins of that cut number, really emphasizing good shot making and keeping the sheet clean if possible! As the bowlers battled their way through the elimination rounds, we were left with a top-4 of Lori Grisanti Exner , Daniel Staring Sr. , Emma Johnson and Dartanion Sellers . We had a good battle brewing right out of the gate, as both Lori and Dartanion came out striking. An open frame in the 7th frame seemed as though it may spell doom for Dartanion, as he was down 30, but he started striking again and didn't stop until the last ball was thrown, giving himself a 2-point victory and his first ever tournament win! Congratulations! Lori took 2nd in her 2nd consecutive finals appearance, Dan took 3rd and Emma captured 4th place. Well done everyone!

The main event had a big shakeup this week, as Dartanion chose to use his double points before the event and capitalized in a big way, rocketing himself to the top of the leaderboard!
