We're excited to share that our power was restored yesterday evening!

Since then, our team has been hard at work cataloging losses, deep cleaning, securing fresh product, and preparing the restaurant for service. As a scratch kitchen and bar, there's a lot that goes into getting everything ready after an interruption like this, and we're incredibly grateful for the effort our team has put in behind the scenes.

The good news: we'll be open today at 4:00 PM with our full menu, plus a few new kitchen specials.

Thank you to everyone who reached out, supported us, purchased gift cards, joined our wine club, and checked in on us during the outage. Your support means the world to our business and our staff.

We missed you, and we hope to see you this weekend.

🚨 Closure Update 🚨

Not the news we wanted to share, but The Wine Thief will be closed today, and we anticipate remaining closed beyond today while we wait for further information regarding the power coming back on.

We’ve received only limited updates so far, so we don’t yet have a firm timeline to share. We’ll continue posting updates if and when they become available.

To be candid, June and July are already some of the most challenging months of the year for independent restaurants in Frankfort due to the closure of Kansas Street. This unexpected setback makes an already difficult season even harder for our team.

If you’d like to support us while we’re unable to operate, please consider making a retail purchase through our website, buying tickets to a future event, purchasing a gift card for a future visit, joining our wine club, or showing some love to our sister restaurant, Cultivate. If you’re able, please also consider supporting our neighboring businesses that are going through this with us.

Every bit of support helps us weather this disruption, continue taking care of our staff, and come back stronger on the other side.
