Yesterday evening, our World Expo of Beer Committee gathered for one of the most rewarding nights of the year: our donation slate meeting.

This is the moment when all of the hard work from this year's World Expo of Beer comes full circle. After months of planning, countless volunteer hours, and an incredible weekend made possible by our sponsors, volunteers, breweries, and attendees, we had the privilege of deciding how to distribute the proceeds to local nonprofits and charities that are making a difference in our community every single day.

A huge thank you goes to DaVinci's Italian Restaurant who generously catered the entire evening. They've been a proud partner of the World Expo of Beer for many years, and their commitment to giving back to our community extends far beyond serving incredible food. Time and time again, they step up to support local events, organizations, and causes, and we're incredibly grateful for their continued partnership.

The donation slate meeting is a reminder that the World Expo of Beer is about so much more than a weekend of great beer. It's about thousands of people coming together to support something bigger than themselves. Every ticket purchased, every volunteer hour given, every sponsorship, and every brewery that participates helps create an opportunity to invest back into the nonprofits and charities that strengthen our community.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, poured beer, or supported the World Expo of Beer in any way, thank you. Your support doesn't end when the event is over. It lives on through the organizations we have the privilege of supporting and the lives they impact every day.

This is what the World Expo of Beer is truly all about. 🍻❤️

🍻 The people have spoken 🍻

Hundreds of votes were cast throughout the weekend as guests sampled beers from across World Expo of Beer and voted for their favorite.

Congratulations to Redwood Steakhouse & Brewing Company on taking home the 2026 Volksbier Award, our official People's Choice winner.

🏆 Winning Beer: Imperial Stout

Out of hundreds of incredible beers poured this weekend, Redwood rose to the top and earned the votes of the people who matter most... the guests who experienced it.

Huge thank you to Lazy Dog Pizza for taking care of the Frankenmuth Jaycees and Wrangler crew during cleanup on Sunday!

After a long weekend and a lot of hours put in making World Expo of Beer happen, having great food waiting for the crew means more than people realize. Cleanup day is when everyone is tired, sore, and still grinding to get everything packed up and put away, so your support was greatly appreciated.

We’re incredibly thankful for local businesses that continue to step up and support the volunteers who make these events possible. Thank you for helping keep our crew fueled and helping us continue giving back to the community. 🍕❤️

As everybody gears up for the work week tomorrow… just remember…

If there happens to be a video of you floating around the internet from World Expo of Beer dancing on a shuttle pole, or singing songs to strangers, or wearing goofy beer goggles, or acting like the unofficial mayor of Beer Town USA… it’s OK. 😂🍻

You had FUN.
You made awesome memories.
And most importantly… you made it home safe.

Huge shoutout to the Midnight Madness, DD drivers and the volunteers that helped make sure everybody got home responsibly after an absolutely unforgettable weekend.

What a weekend. 🍻❤️

From the bottom of our hearts… THANK YOU.

To our incredible volunteers, sponsors, brewers, entertainers, food trucks, vendors, police, and every single person that walked through those gates this weekend… YOU are what made the 30th Anniversary World Expo of Beer so special.

So many laughs were shared, friendships were made, beers were poured, memories were created, and wow… did we capture some FUN along the way.

We’ll be releasing more photos, videos, and hilarious moments over the coming days, so keep checking back and make sure to scroll through everything already posted because there’s a good chance you might spot yourself somewhere in the madness.
