Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival 68th Annual Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival is June 10-13, 2027! Sing and dance downtown to Bavarian music Friday night opens the weekend with a Street Party!

64th Annual Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival June 8-11, 2023

Come on out and be a part of Michigan's largest celebration of Bavarian Heritage! The 2023 Bavarian Princess will be crowned the Saturday before festival. Thursday officially starts the festival with the Maypole and dancers. We are closing Main Street and opening up the fun! Fireworks will close out the party giving you time to dance the r

est of the night away in the tents. Admission is free for the Street Party. The Main Tent, located in Zehnder Park, will host traditional German entertainers and polka bands. You can also see local favorites performing all weekend. The Rock Tent, located behind Tiffany's Food and Spirits, will feature bands Friday and Saturday night. Saturday will play host to a number of events happening through town. The Kindertag Parade begins at 10am at River Place Shops. Don't forget to sign up and watch Saturday's Cornhole Tournament! Be sure to join us Sunday for the one and only Bavarian Festival Parade. All of this and more for only $10 general admission. Kids 12 and under are free.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ We are honored to welcome the Michigan Heroes Museum as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Bavarian Festival Parade!

As we celebrate this year's parade theme, "Land of Hopes and Dreams: 250 Years of Hope and Heritage," we're proud to recognize an organization dedicated to preserving the stories of the brave men and women who helped shape our nation.

Stop by and meet representatives from the Michigan Heroes Museum on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00am- 3:00pm outside the Frankenmuth Historical Museum.

Museum Historian Landen Hill will be showcasing a special display honoring Cecil Foster of Midland, Michigan, and visitors can pick up half-off admission coupons to the Michigan Heroes Museum, valid through June 21, 2026.
