Pat and I would like you to know this Friday, July 25 the Dam saloon will not be open . We will be attending my brother Dave’s funeral.  We will be open Saturday and Sunday and we look forward to seeing you all. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support.

The Dam Saloon Doors have been pried open for another great season 2025!! We had a couple of good days for a test run with great people stopping in! We are fully stocked up and ready for the Spring Flood Run this weekend, the 19th, and any thereafter!! Monday through Wednesday will continue to be spotty until Mother Nature’s Attitude gets better! Pat and I would like to thank everyone who supported us last year and we are looking forward to another Awesome Dam Season 2025!! The Dam Saloon has had a couple of test run days to make sure that everything is ready for the 2024 Season! We are fully stocked and ready to roll for the Spring Flood Run, Saturday the 20th, 2024! If you are new to the Dam Saloon, you turn into the US Army Corps Lock and Dam 5A parking lot, Fountain City, WI 54629 and look for the Dam Saloon sign…. The rest is self explanatory. If you are by boat, we are right below the L&D 5A tucked in with the MN Centennial ShowBoat! Docking is available on the ShowBoat and the Dam Barge connected to the Dam Saloon. We try to be open by Noon, sometimes earlier, We have No Closing Time, earlier during the week, later on the weekends. If you have any Dam Questions, Please call 507-429-3797. If you are upset and calling to complain, please call our customer support hotline, 1-800-No Dam Personnel Available!! For all others, we the Dam Saloon Staff, Pat and Bob, Appreciate your Support and Business through the years from all of our Great Customers, (Old and Seasoned! ) and the ( New, soon to become Seasoned! ) With all of that being said, the Dam Doors are Open for the 2024 Season so please stop in and say HI! Here we are on the 10th of May… thanks to the great help, the Dam walkway is safe once again and the river continues on its way down!! This is the boat that we raised that sunk with 8 people on it after going through US Army Corps Lock and Dam 7 at flood time…. Everyone made it off alive!!!
