Undergoing renovation and expansion since 1995, the original bar, furniture, back bar and tin ceilings remain the centerpiece of this old world tavern. The owners continue to commit to this project as the lower level now features a truly unique Draught House for the original Fountain Brew recipes from the 1850's. The third floor is undergoing a similar upgrade and will feature five different tin c

eilings and many incorporations of salvaged architectural items and furniture. Plans call for a viewing and dining platform to be built on the roof with a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and the bluffs surrounding the city. On tap since 1997, the original recipes from The Fountain City Brewing Company were saved by the former assistant brewmaster and donated to the owners with the caveat that they remain true to the taste and brew notes.
