Hi, I'm the founder and longtime host of the old Sunday night jazz jam at the Black Dog. During the early going, a few bartenders tried to talk him out of it, but he stuck until it got popular. Also, the house band was practically donating its time because the audience was so responsive and they caught on that they were getting the jazz for pretty cheap.

So anyway, Danny Owens will be showing his paintings at a place called Cleo's Creations in the Hulen Mall from 11AM until 8PM today, Saturday April 20th. Come see his work and compare it to the work shown at the Black Dog Tavern 18 years ago...
