After 14 wonderful years, we are announcing the permanent closure of our treasured family business, T & P Tavern. Serving the Fort Worth community has been an honor, and we cherish the countless memories we've made together. It has been a gathering spot for friends and family, a venue for celebrations, and a cornerstone of the neighborhood's history. Your support, laughter, and stories have been the lifeblood of our establishment, and we are deeply grateful for each and every one of you.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our devoted staff, both past and present, whose hard work and commitment have been essential to our success. We will forever be indebted to their dedication, service and loyalty. We are determined to assist in job placement opportunities for these incredible people. Please see the end of this post.

Our Story

T & P Tavern is located on the bottom floor of the T & P Train Station, formerly the Texas & Pacific Railway Passenger Depot from the 1930’s until the mid 1960’s. The T & P Tavern is the original train station diner restored and converted into a modern day Gastropub offering a rotating tap wall and specialty bites from our scratch kitchen. It’s the perfect venue for group parties, large and small, and a great place to meet before or after a joyride on the TRE or TexRail . Plenty of parking for those taking the train is available directly behind the building accessible by Vickery in the Trinity Metro Lot. If arriving by car, there is ample parking in front of the building, or the meters along Lancaster Avenue, or up the ramp to the east of the mid-rise condo building. Please be aware that all parking (except Trinity Metro lot on Vickery) requires payment of sorts depending on time of day and other circumstances. Our entrance from the TM Lot and train platform is on the north end of the train tunnel. If coming from the north side of the building, we are located down the alleyway between the T & P Building and the mid-rise condo building. A chain linked fence indicates our 4,300 square foot covered patio followed by our amazing art-deco historic interior. The T & P Tavern is family owned and operated by Nathan and Joanne Weber and was established in 2009 and is now considered a Fort Worth staple.
