Sorry that Javelin Brewing has been quiet all these years. When we relocated to Fort Smith, Arkansas the scene was just very different, so not much interesting to post. However, we will return to posting more updates and activities asap. Thanks for your patience, in the meantime here is a picture of our first batches of mead we produced!

Zoo Brew is the Jackson Zoo's annual craft beer festival and fundraiser held on the first Friday of April.

Thanks to the Keg and Barrel for hosting another great Outlaw Homebrew competition. Those who know me, know I set high expectations for myself. I am happy that I placed in two categories, at the opposite ends of the beer spectrum. I placed 3rd in Session for my Brown Ale and 2nd in Big and Boozy for my Russian Imperial Stout. I expect better of myself than that though. Back to the lab to improve my products and get things ready for next year’s events!

Brew day at Javelin Brewing Company. It's been awhile, so we are going all out. Doing a partigyle brew day with a Belgian Tripel and a west coast IPA. Building our arsenal for Outlaw Brew Fest at Keg & Barrel this fall.

Celebrating the final day of the holiday weekend with a traditional Brown Ale. All my beers are fermented and are getting carbonated for the upcoming Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival on June 10th. See you there?

Thank you to Everyone who came out to the 10th Annual Zoo Brew and to Raise Your Pints for the home brewer section support. What a fantastic night. Javelin Brewing Company appreciates all the love and support. We were lucky to place 3rd in Scottish/Irish Ale category with Mac the Pike Scottish Ale, 3rd with Ginger Wasn't a Redhead, She was a Dirty Blonde in the Fruit/Vegetable category, 1st with Tailwind Tropical Wheat in the wheat beer category & 1st with Kpakeh Russian Imperial Stout in the stout/porter category. Kpakeh also came in 3rd in the Best of Show category! I am humbled to have gotten those awards amongst so many fantastic home brews!
