Happy Labor Day from Coldwater Oyster Market! 🦪🇺🇸

Around here, we know a little something about labor.

Great oysters don’t just happen. They’re raised, sorted, tumbled, tended and harvested by hardworking people who spend years turning a tiny seed into something worth putting on your plate.

Last fall, Erin and I had the chance to see that work firsthand on the Damariscotta River in Maine—and it gave us an even greater appreciation for the farmers behind the oysters we’re proud to serve every day.

Oysters truly are a labor of love. And we’re pretty lucky that eating them is the easy part. 😉

We’re OPEN normal hours today, 11:30–9. Come celebrate Labor Day with cold oysters, fresh New England seafood and a drink or two.
