I really really love Blu Sushi - McGregor ❤️

I used to eat at the Downtown Ft.Myers location literally every week. I have never had bad food there. Everything is very consistent.. and I would know, because I order the same thing every single time.

-Clear soup
-Volcano roll, cooked extra crispy.

I love how the crab is in those little balls on top of my sushi rice, and I never feel like the sushi is too big for my mouth (which has been a problem for me at other places). Also, I like how they don't make the bottom of the Volcano like a California Roll. Its just rice at the bottom. They never give me a problem asking to customize my order to make it extra crispy, and I love a place that puts the sauce on the side so you can add the amount you want. I get eel sauce on the side and I do a light drizzle. The clear soup is probably pretty hard to mess up, because it tastes good everywhere I go, but I will mention that they put the little fried onions in the soup, and I love that. One of the few times I will eat fried onion.

Now that the downtown location has closed, I went to try the McGregor location. (Still in Ft.Myers, FL). Everything came out perfectly. My husband was laughing at my face as I ate, because I could not hide my satisfaction. It was so good!!
