Happy Friday!
So here’s the final details for this weekend. We will be selling shirts out back tomorrow starting at 10 and Sunday starting at 9. We will also have beer and water for sale out back. On Sunday starting at 10, we have live music out back by Matthew Broseph Freed. We brought back some old bartenders too so you won’t want to miss your chance to say hi to these guys. (We cannot sell shirts online. In person only.)

Having said that, please be kind to us this weekend. We know you love this bar, but we are saying goodbye to a part of our jobs a part of our lives, the VanSelows are saying goodbye to a bar that has been the biggest part of their life for most their life. This weekend will be very hard for us as well so I just ask you all remember that and be kind.

We love you all very much.

Hey Mermaids! A couple of updates for you all:

We will be selling shirts out back Saturday and Sunday to make things smoother. We will also have beer, bottled water and we are working on getting live music for you to enjoy while you're back there. I will update you all on specific hours as soon as I know what time shirts come in.

This won't be the last opportunity you will have to buy Mermaid shirts, so don't worry if you can't make it. (We are unable to sell shirts online. In person only. We apologize for any inconvenience.)

We will also be opening at 7am instead of 9am on Sunday. We will still have $1 bloody marys until 12. We want to give everyone a couple extra hours to enjoy our beloved Church Service.

This owners of the iconic Mermaid Lounge say they will be closing on May 3rd. The property where the Mermaid is located will be part of the new Margaritaville Resort which is expected to break ground in June.
